Head of Indian arts group resigning

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2001 Barbara Walzer, executive director of the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA), is resigning from her post. A native New Yorker, Walzer said September 11's terrorist attacks contributed to her decision. She said she wants to be closer to her parents and friends. Walzer will leave in March. SWAIA sponsors the Santa Fe Indian Market, the largest Indian arts market in the world. Get the Story:
