In case you forgot, Gathering of Nations, North America's largest pow-wow, begins on Thursday, April 26.

Held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the pow-wow is in its 18th year and its organizers are especially excited that the GRAMMY folks will be attending. Gathering founder Herman Begay and the drum groups featured on the GRAMMY-winning Gathering of Nations soundtrack will receive special certificates from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.

But there'll be more and organizers are promising an even bigger and better Gathering. Here's a list of the weekend's scheduled special appearances and performances:

Thursday, April 26
7:00 PM - Miss Indian World competition, with guest Irene Bedard and music by Ulali

Friday, April 27
10:00 AM - William Guiterrez
10:30 AM - Star Nayea
11:00 AM - Robert Mirabal
12:30 AM - Clan/destine

Saturday, April 28
10:00 AM - William Gutierrez
10:30 AM - Sherry Marquelle
11:00 AM - Native Roots
7:45 PM - Ulali

Of course, there'll be drum groups, dancing, artists' booths, food, and more.
