MAY 8, 2000 San Juan Pueblo hosted the Ultimate Lowrider Competition at its Ohkay Casino on Saturday. Show attendees traveled from throughout the Southwest to show off their creations to several thousand fans of the customized cars known as Low Riders. Show exhibitors say they have pumped anywhere from $25,000 to $300,000 into their automotive exhibits.
