The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut has paid $900,000 for the artwork of David Wagner, a Connecticut artist. The more than 70 paintings sold to the tribe depict Eastern Woodland Indians, a series on the Pequot War, and portraits of Indian chiefs. The tribe is deciding on where to display the paintings.
