AUGUST 18, 2000 The Native Roots and Rhythms Concert features some of the biggest names in Native music today, including Robert Mirabal, Bill Miller, and Star Nayea. Sponsored by the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Council Inc., the concert will take place Saturday, August 19 at the Paolo Soleri Ampitheatre in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Harlan McKosato of Native America Calling will host the show. The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences will host a Native music workshop in conjunction with the concert today at the Institute of American Indian Arts Museum. Get the Story:
