JANUARY 5, 2000

The Alaska Native Language Center at the University of Alaska at Fairbanks has published the Koyukon Athabaskan Dictionary.

The dictionary is the product of Eliza Jones, an Alaska Native, and Jules Jette, a French-Canadian Jesuit priest who lived at the turn of the century. Jette learned to speak the Koyukon language and Jones used his manuscripts to complete the dictionary.
