The Winnebago School District on the Winnebago Reservation in Nebraska will be holding a special school board election on March 27.

The election was precipitated by the recall of three board members and controversial policies of Superintendent Virgil Likness. Parents and others say Likness instituted policies without consulting them, including one to require student uniforms.
