Students at Port Angeles High School in Port Angeles, Washington can now take language courses in Klallam. The high school began offering a two-year course in the language this school year.

Eight years ago, tribal leaders began revitalizing the language. Lummi and Klallam are now the only native language taught in Washington public schools schools.
