JUNE 26, 2000 A mock military trial of Lt Col George A Custer on June 23 was part of the Little Big Horn Days remembrance of the historic June 25, 1876 battle. The two judges of the case were split on whether or not Custer violated US Army orders in conducting the campaign in which warriors from the Sioux, Cheyenne, and Crow Nations defeated the Army.
