Schools seek Indian students

Private colleges and universities in Minnesota are focusing on attracing more American Indian and minority students to their schools.

Augsburg College, for example, tries to attract Indian students with scholarships from a $600,000 endowment. School officials want to increase the endowment to $1 million.

The college, located in Minneapolis, had 35 Native students last year.
