Marpiya Okinajin, or He Who Stands in the Clouds, also known as Cut Nose, a Dakota warrior has been repatriated to the Lower Sioux Indian Community of Morton, Minnesota and was reburied at a ceremony attended by various tribes.

Also known a Cut Nose, Marpiya Okinajin was hanged by the US Army in 1862 for taking part of the Dakota Conflict. His body was dug up by grave robbers and given to Dr. William Mayo, father of the brothers who founded the Mayo Clinic, for study.
