Indian scout finally gets recognition

An Assiniboine scout who served with the US Army in 1870 will receive military honors during a funeral service this Saturday, due to efforts by his great-grandson.

Owl Headdress helped the Army defend Fort Buford in North Dakota from an attack by Indian warriors. He was blinded in the attack.
