Pueblo students sending teddy bears

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2001 Students from Laguna Pueblo Elementary in New Mexico are sending their own Pueblo teddy bears to New York City for children who lost their parents in the September 11 tragedy. The idea started off among students but the entire community has ended up pitching in. The bears are being dressed in traditional Pueblo attire and being sent with notes from the students to New York. Get the Story:
