WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2001 More schools in Maryland are considering dropping their Indian related mascots, logos or symbols. The Maryland Commission on Indian Affairs had called on the removal of all mascots. Although the request was met with scorn by some, various schools are already moving to drop names like "Indians" and "Braves." Get the Story:
