Norton: Fight terrorism Visit parks

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2001 Secretary of Interior Gale Norton on Wednesday said Americans can fight fear of terrorism by visiting the nation's national parks. Parks can heal and give visitors inspiration, she said. So go to them, she said, particularly during Veterans Day weekend (November 10-12) when admission to national parks will be waived to show unity and hope. Get the Story:
