NOVEMBER 2, 2000 Senator Frank Murkowski (R-Alaska) spoke at The National Press Club on Wednesday, urging the development of the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge. He also criticized the energy policies of the Clinton / Gore administration. Clinton has said he would veto any legislation which opens up the refuse and Gore is also opposed to it. George W.
