MAY 23, 2001 A nuclear power convention gave Vice President Dick Cheney a warm welcome on Tuesday as he pushed for increasing the role of nuclear energy. President Bush's energy plan calls for speedier licensing of nuclear reactors. It also calls for development of a national nuclear waste repository. Get the Story:
