N.M. County considering fireworks ban

JUNE 12, 2001 Worried about fires, Santa Fe County in New Mexico today will consider a 30-day ban on aerial fireworks. The ban would mean a loss of sales for fireworks businesses which operate on tribal land to avoid state regulations. The businesses aren't typically owned by tribes. Get the Story:
