Progress reported on Jicarilla fire

JUNE 14, 2001 A 700-acre fire burning on the Jicarilla Apache Reservation in northern New Mexico has been reported as 60 percent contained as of Wednesday. The Cordova Fire was started last Saturday. About 500 people have been involved in battling the blaze, which could be contained completely by the end of the week. Get the Story:
