Tribes rebuff oil company

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes on the Flathead reservation in Wyoming won't negotitate with the Yellowstone Pipe Line Company over an easement on the reservaton, citing environmental concerns by tribal members.

Between 1986 and 1993, there have been seven spills from the company's pipeline. The tribe five years ago refused to renew the company's easement.
