The White Earth Band of Ojibwe and the state of Minnesota are continuing to work on a cooperative agreement to regulate fishing and hunting on the tribe's reservation.

The tribe isn't bound by the state's bag and harvest limits. But if the tribe enters into an agreement, the state will provide them with 2.5 percent of revenues from hunting and fishing licenses, which amounts to about $1.2 million every year.

The Leech Lake Ojibwe have a similar agreement.
