AUGUST 28, 2000 The Blackfeet Tribe of Montana has adopted some 30 swift fox that have been released on the reservation by the Defenders of Wildlife and the Cochrane Ecological Institute. The tribe and the two are partners in an effort to re-introduce the species, which is not endangered but is ordered protected. Get the Story:
