SEPTEMBER 20, 2000

Rocky, inaccessible terrain is challenging firefighters attempting to battle a 750-acre blaze on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming.

The fire is reported about 5 percent contained as of Tuesday.

Two fires in August affected about 30,000 acres. Another fire burned some 80,000 acres of the historic Arapahoe Ranch on the reservation.
