A bill returning more than 67,000 acres of mineral subsurface rights to Acoma Pueblo of New Mexico is ready for President Bush's signature.

The measure, pushed by New Mexico's Congressional delegation, passed the Senate on Monday. It passed the House in November.

The rights were taken from the Pueblo without tribal consent. The Department of Interior is authorized to buy the rights, currently held privately, within three years.
