In an effort to bring more tourists to its three-state reservation, the Navajo Nation has begun work with the federal government and a land trust organization.

Two monuments are located on the reservation. Grand Canyon National Park is near the Arizona part of the reservation.

The tribe's park service, the National Park Service and the Grand Canyon Trust are collaborating in hopes of increasing visits to the area.
