Montana State University is hosting "Protecting Mother Earth," a four-day conference focusing on sacred sites.

On Wednesday, talked turned to the Weatherman Draw site in Montana. It is also known as the Valley of the Chiefs.

The site become of high interest last year because the Bush administration approved drilling near the site considered sacred to dozens of tribes. The attention put the brakes on test development that was to take place, the speakers at the conference said.
