The Department of Energy on Wednesday released 950 pages of documents related to President Bush's national energy task force.

The records are considered to be the last the government is providing to environmental groups. The groups won a court order to force the disclosure.

According to The Washington Post, the latest set of e-mails, records and other information shows the task force's limited its consultation with environmental groups to those which had policies consistent with the Bush administration. The panel didn't seek the input of environmental groups until two months after its formation in January 2001.

The documents also show that green organizations were given little time to offer their insights, The New York Times reported. Eleven groups were asked for information and told they had 48 hours to comment.
