President Bush is being asked to help push a Montana water project through Congress.

The Department of Interior is opposing the $200 million project, which would affect the Rocky Boy's Reservation and other communities. In a letter, Gov. Judy Martz (R) is inviting Secretary Gale Norton to visit the area.

A House panel held a hearing on a bill to create the project last week. John Keys, commissioner of the Bureau of Reclamation, said the Interior didn't have the money.
