Clinic tries to stop drug abuse

OCTOBER 19, 2000 The Eskasoni Health Centre in Eskasoni is tackling the drug problem among the Native community in Nova Scotia. Drug abuse and over-prescription of drugs by physicians have led to problems in the community. The clinic has developed an innovative program to address the problem and its director has said non-Natives from outside the community are seeking out the doctors there. Get the Story:
