DECEMBER 7, 2000

Traditional foods and elders are being used to help treat Innu children in Labrador addicted to gas-sniffing.

The community of Sheshatshiu called for treatment for many children addicted to the substance. While some have gone off to a nearby military facility for help, others have been placed with families who live in traditional Innu camps.
