MAY 10, 2000 The Siksika Nation of Alberta is threatening to seize Castle Mountain in Banff National Park, which they use for ceremonies. The Siksika has been in land claim negotiations with the government over the mountain since 1960. A land claim negotiator for the Nation said band members are frustrated with the lack of response from the government. The Siksika are currently suing the government over natural resource rights.
