Treaty rights hunting criticized in N.B.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2001 Liberals in New Brunswick are criticizing the province for allowing Mik'maq and Maliseet hunters to exercise their treaty rights to hunt moose. Shawn Graham says the Natural Resources Department should impose a quota on the hunt. He also says there are health concerns over the 200,000 pounds of meat he says are sold without being inspected.
