Tribe gets to keep doctors

OCTOBER 18, 2000 All the physicians at the Onondaga Nation Health Center will stay on board under a management contract paid for by the New York state Department of Health. Syracuse Community Health Center has begun running the clinic, which provides free medical and dental services to tribal members. The state handed over the contract to Syracuse after Upstate Medical University pulled out of the management of the clinic. Get the Story:
