Elders' conference wraps up in Minn.

JUNE 7, 2001 The first conference dedicated to the issues of Indian elders in Minnesota ended on Wednesday in Hinckley. The conference drew an estimated 500 from throughout the state. The focus was on keeping elders healthy and fit through a program called Wisdom Steps. The number of Indian elders in the state is expected to be as high as 20,000 by 2030.
