Chickasaw Nation first to receive grant

TUESDAY, JULY 17, 2001 The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma has become the first tribe to receive a child support enforcement grant from the Department of Health and Human Services. The $1.2 million grant will help the tribe open two more child enforcement offices and hire more staff. The existing two offices help resolve child welfare cases of Chickasaw children. Get the Story:
