Study: Estrogen benefits older women

A study published in today's issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association, says that estrogen replacement therapy can significantly improve the bone density in frail, elderly women.

Women over 75 are most at risk for bone fractures. The study cites increases in bone density among elderly women.
