AUGUST 7, 2000 The Foster Grandparent Program on the Leech Lake, Red Lake, White Earth and Bois Fort reservations in Minnesota brings elders together with needy children. The elders read to kids, teach math, and offer warm relationships to children. Minnesota has more foster grandparents than any other state, according to the program supervisor. Get the Story:
