TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2001 For the past few years, a group of Native veterans have gathered in South Dakota to take part in a wakte gli, a traditional Lakota healing ceremony for warriors. For participants like Jim Brown and Clifford Martell, who both served in the Vietnam War, the ceremony has helped shed years of stress and torment.
