Indian hospital gets new digs

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2001 Thanks to the work of a non-profit organization in New Mexico and the donations it raised, the Santa Fe Indian Hospital has a brand new and bigger waiting area. The Santa Fe Forum raised about $50,000 plus additional donations of goods and services to remodel the hospital's old waiting area. The new addition has two rooms, better chairs, a children's table and a handicapped-accessible bathroom. The hospital has about 28,000 clients. Get the Story:
