THURSDAY, APRIL 25, 2002 The White House and Sen. Pete Domenici (R-N.M.) are working on a bill to provide equal insurance coverage for mental illnesses, according to published reports. No agreement has been reached but talks are underway, confirmed a Domenici spokesperson. Domenici has been a strong advocate for expanding coverage since his daughter suffers from schizophrenia. President Bush is going to New Mexico on Monday and will endorse the issue there, The Washington Post reports. Get the Story:
