Photo © AP Election officials in Peru have announced a run-off for the nation's presidential race. Alejandro Toledo, hoping to be the first Indian president, won approximately 40% of the vote on Tuesday. He will be entering into a runoff with current leader, Alberto Fujimori who received the less than the 50% needed for a victory. Many observers believe that this election is a litmus test for the strength of emerging democracies in South America. Get the Story:
