Small gift causes big trouble

OCTOBER 16, 2000 A small gift of 12 acres of land in Pennsylvania to the Delaware Tribe of Oklahoma has caused big problems among neighbors of a Philadelphia suburb. The Galantino couple gave land to the tribe and hoped to buy more land. But a neighboring household didn't want to sell and say the Galantino's retaliated against them, first by building a 400-foot long, 12-foot high fence blocking their view and then by allegedly threatening to kill them.
