A federal judge in Florida last week dismissed a lawsuit filed against suspended Seminole Chief Jim Billie.

The judge said Billie was protected from the sexual harassment suit due to sovereign immunity. A former employee of the tribe contends he impregnated her, forced her to get an abortion and then paid her off with tribal funds.

The woman's lawyer said he plans to file suit in state court.
