Native man pleas no contest for stabbings

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2001 Jason Pritchard, an Alaska Native man with a history of mental illness, pleaded no contest to two counts of attempted murder on Monday. Pritchard in May went on a spree at an Anchorage elementary school, attacking children at random. He now faces a sentence of five years to 99 years. Get the Story:
