FEBRUARY 13, 2001 A summit between tribal leaders and county government officials in Minnesota is set to take place this week at the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe's casino in Bemidji. The meeting is being organized by the Association of Minnesota Counties (AMC) and the Minnesota Indian Affairs Council (MIAC). It will take place on Wednesday and Thursday and will feature issues facing tribal and local governments. Get the Story:
