New York counties head to DC

Officials from at least six counties involved in the Oneida Nation land claims dispute are heading to Washington, DC this week to air their grievances. Recent settlement talks between the counties and the Oneida have broken down again. The counties hope to convince federal authorities to side with them instead of the Oneida, as they have done up to this point.
