A week after the Crow Tribe pf Montana received payment for coal mining royalties, tribal members still don't have their share of the funds.

The Department of Interior's Office of Trust Fund Management confirmed the tribe was wired its payment from Westmoreland Resources on April 6. After that, the office said, its up to the tribe to determine how to distribute the funds.

Tribal member were supposed to receive a share of the royalties on April 10, one of three times during the year. The tribe has been having financial accounting problems lately, however, and has hired a new firm to handle the situation, said a Bureau of Indian Affairs superintendent in Montana.
