Teen being held for shooting father

MAY 30, 2001 A 14-year-old boy is being held by police in Beltrami County after he allegedly shot his father to death on the Leech Lake Reservation in Minnesota. The boy is also being held for suspicion of stabbing the foster parents of his girlfriend, age 17. The boy had been reportedly discouraged by his father and her parents from dating her.
