The Little Shell Tribe of Montana have a large task ahead of them, having received preliminary federal recognition from the Bureau of Indian Affairs in May. Enrollment policies, applying for federal funds, buying land, and providing housing are just some of the issues the tribe and tribal members will face in the upcoming months and years.

A potluck meeting will be held for Little Shell tribal members on Saturday.
