Pequot proble unlikely now

Steve Hansen, spokesman for the US House Committee on Resources said a Congressional probe into the 1983 Mashantucket Pequot Settlement Act, which granted the tribe federal recognition and ended the tribe's land claims with local landowners, is unlikely this current legislative sesion.

Hansen said Representative Sam Gedjenson's request for a probe is "not high on the priority list."
